TRUST WITHOUT A TRACE....
It is fair to say in one time or another; a saint’s faith
will be tested. Isn’t it easy to believe, trust, praise, and worship God when
all is going well in your life? Family is well, career is established, money is
flowing, nice house, descent car, that’s when praise comes easy. But what
happens when what was once great now becomes unsatisfactory.
What happens when the economy now has caused your job to end,
which now reflects why your cash flow is about empty. Or now your children have
become rebellious, marriage is on the brinks, illness has afflicted the body, or
death has silently or suddenly stolen your love one. What happens when Satan
has finally visited your door? Why is it now the praise is a whisper, or a mild
clapping of the hands, or a fake smile upon the face? What happen to the
radical praise?
Many Christians can probably contest that during trails and
tribulations, its hard to press their way to church, bible study, read the Word
on their own time, encourage themselves, remain faithful in their tithes and
servitude, and even to pray.
But it is during the difficult times, that Christians must
remember, that the Lord is still present. God doesn’t run because Satan has
shown up. As a matter of fact, Satan had to ask permission to show up. The test
could be to see if you would run or perhaps would one’s circumstance dictate
their relationship with the Lord?
The big question shouldn’t be what are we going through, but rather how
will we go through?
It times like this that God truly wants to show himself
strong and bring you out with a testimony to share and help others. But will we
have the faith, will our faith be strong enough to prohibit us from throwing in
the towel. Will our faith be like Job’s and be one of no matter what happens, I
am still going to trust him. Will it be like the Blind Bartimaeus, just wait on
him. No matter how long it takes Jesus to show up on our behalf, we going to be
there waiting. Or will it be like woman with the issue of blood, reach out and touch
him and have the faith that through our touch, we will be made whole.
Faith is believing in what you can’t see rather than what
you can. Even when it seems God is not around, not even a trace of him., continue to trust him.
TRUST GOD EVEN WHEN YOU CAN’T TRACE HIM!!
