 OUTREACH
As a result of our drug outreach ministry we received a letter from our first sponsored person. Work in Progress Ministries sent this woman in her early 50's to a Christian based drug treatment facility. With her faith in God and commitment to herself she boarded a plane for the first time to travel to this facility which is 1,495.4 miles and 22 hours 16 minutes away from her home. It is our pray that reading an excerpt of the letter, as featured on the right will bless you or someone you know.

Dear Good Friend & Pastor Guy,

First of all I want to say that I thank God for letting our paths cross and that:
1. you are my friend
2. I am "proud" of the fact that God has taken you to the place in your life that you are in
3. you thought enough of me to recommend me to such a sanctified and Holy place to recover and find myself. So that I can be able to, once again, take my rightful place as God's child.

As everything in life that is new to you, I'm having a little trouble adjusting.

I'm far away from home, I can't call and talk to familiar voices. I'm having to put trust in people that I don't know.

If that isn't about stepping out on faith I don't know what is! (smile) Seriously, I know that it is all in God's plan for me to be here and God makes no mistakes.

He's been with me through all the bad mistakes and I know he'll never leave me, to God be the Glory!

Old things will be passed away and I will return a new creature in Christ! Thank you Jesus!

Again my friend I say thanks! Give my love to First Lady and the family. Tell them I love and miss them all. I can hardly wait to get home to see you all.

All things are possible if you only believe.

Your new Sister in Christ!

P.S. This comes to mind:
Where would I be, where would I be seeking a refuge for my soul, needing a friend to save me in the end, where would I go but to the Lord!

VICTORY WILL BE MINE!

Letters From Africa
Dear Pastor Jones:

I greet you in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. How are you and the body of Christ with you there?

Again, I want to thank you very much for the Study Bible you sent me. It is really helping me. Each morning, I open my bible to make a diligent study of the word of God and I get a lot from my bible. The way the word of God is delivered in the Bible is simply overwhelming and open to say to you it continues to uplift and refresh my spirit everyday of my life. I really thank God for raising you in my day and allowing me to grow spiritually under the help of your ministry. It was always in my prayers and expectations to find someone to help me get a Bible I needed and I thank God that I got connected to you and your website and have got the Bible.

Words alone cannot express my joy of finally connecting to you my spiritual root. I praise the Lord for this wonderful opportunity you have given me. Once again, thank you very much and God bless you.

Your in Christ,
