About Us
We haven’t made it yet but we are on our way. We are a work in progress. God is not through with us yet.
The Lord’s vision for Work in Progress Ministries is for us to be governed by the word of God. We are not to go to the left, or to the right, but will stay with the word. We are an evangelistic ministry. Our church will be used not only for services, but for community activities as well. We are finding ways to reach out to the youth. We will continue to find help for single parents. This ministry will birth Sons, and Daughters, that will go into the ministry.
Mission:To develop ministries within the ministry, for the strength, and the betterment of our community, families and our youth.
Purpose:To constantly seek the Lord for direction and guidance, and to win souls for the Kingdom of God; and help them grow into mature born again Holy Ghost filled Christians.
Plan:To build upon the vision that God has given our Pastor Guy E. Jones, Sr. and the First Lady Sherrilyn Jones, that we may help them to build and enhance our ministry.
Scripture:Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
